Each flight on this route can carry 55 to 60 tons of cargo and operates four times weekly. After arriving in Istanbul, the goods can be transferred to Madrid, London, Amsterdam and other European cities for exports.
This newly launched route is Kunming airport's first regular all-cargo route directly connecting Kunming to the European mainland. It is also the airport's cargo route with the longest distance and biggest capacity.
As of now, Kunming airport has launched nine international all-cargo routes, connecting key aviation hubs in South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Europe.
Data shows that as of November 18, the airport customs has overseen 66,000 tons of inbound and outbound goods, up by 35.3% year on year.
