According to the latest statistics from Lijiang Customs, the total value of Lijiang's foreign trade reached 180 million yuan from January to October this year, a significant year-on-year increase of 75%. This impressive performance is largely attributed to local highland production, with fresh-cut flowers being a case in point.

Fresh flowers are transported to a packing area.
"Currently, about 40% of our fresh-cut flowers are exported. Their quality, which meets international market standards, is made possible by modern production and management models," said Yang Jie, General Manager of Lijiang Qize Agricultural Development Co., Ltd.
The company's greenhouses feature smart equipment for growing flowers. This year, the company has exported some 60,000 fresh-cut roses to Singapore, Japan, Russia, and other countries, winning positive feedback from international consumers.
