Lao, Myanmar students boost exchanges at Baoshan int'l coffee event

The 3rd International Conference on the Development Specialty Coffee Industry was just held in west Yunnan's Baoshan city, highlighting beer-flavored coffee, wild-mushroom coffee and civet coffee, as well as the coffee varieties from Honduras, Jamaica, Ethiopia, Nicaragua, Panama and more. The students from Lao and Myanmar have played their roles in international coffee tasting and friendly business exchanges.

Jointly organized by Yunnan Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, Yunnan Foreign Affairs Office and Baoshan Municipal People's Government, the conference gathered around 30 diplomatic envoys, including ambassadors from four countries and five consuls general in Kunming. Over 500 international representatives from coffee associations, enterprises and research institutions attended the event.
