Great hornbill 1st spotted in Menglian, Pu’er
The great hornbill, a national first-class protected bird, was recently seen foraging in Menglian Dai, Lahu and Va autonomous county, southwest Yunnan’s Pu'er city.
The appearance of the great hornbill in Menglian serves an evidence that local ecosystem has improved and the efforts in biodiversity conservation achieved results.
