Nepalese Solidarity for One-China Principle

Nepal-China Media forum has issued a statement on today"s Taiwan Election and its possible outcome.

chairman kishor Shrestha has said in the statement That "As Nepal endorses the One-China Principle,the recent "election" in Taiwan region has caused concern among Nepalese citizens,media,and those dedicated to fostering friendship and people-to-people relationships between Nepal and China.

Nepal has always upheld the One-China Principle.We reiterate that the Taiwan question is China's internal affair,and we recognize only one China in the world",he further says that We support the Government of the People’s Republic of China as the sole legal government representing the whole of China,and affirm that Taiwan is an inalienable part of China’s territory.Consequently,we strongly oppose "Taiwan independence".

Therefore,we consistently stand in support of China’s complete reunification and look forward to its continued prosperity".

Today,on January 13,2024, the people of Taiwan have voted Lai Ching-te,the candidate from the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP),as their President.Lai Ching-te is a supporter of Taiwan’s separation from Mainland.
