As the Dragon Boat Festival approaches, Zongzi is readily available at the Yunnan markets. In the honor of the ancient Chinese poet Qu Yuan, the festival is one of the four traditional Chinese festivals in a year, with the must-eat food being Zongzi. It’s a pyramid-shaped dumpling made of glutinous rice wrapped in bamboo or reed leaves.
