"I didn’t expect that in January we can still stroll leisurely along a plum grove in warm sunshine, with the child playing freely in the garden. It doesn't feel like winter at all,” said Ms. Yan, a Shanghai sojourner who was admiring the blossoms at the park in the city's suburbs.

Yan added that the winter climate in Kunming is really comfortable and the air in the park is full of fragrance of plum blossoms. “The city isn't crowded, and the parks is near our living place. We enjoy our winter days here," said Yan.
