Sun: Studies on Zheng He boost China-Malaysia cooperation

To commemorate the 600th anniversary of Zheng He's voyages to the Western Ocean (today’s Indian Ocean), July 11 has been designated as China Maritime Day each year.

Sun Zhiguo, Vice President and Secretary General of the China Zheng He Research Association, said that Malaysia was a most-visited country during Zheng He's voyages.

Zheng He relics are still appealing throughout Malaysia Today. The friendly exchanges over the past centuries have been conducive to today's China-Malaysia cooperation.
