10-bln-yuan deals in investment reached on 8th CSA Expo

The 6-day eighth China-South Asia Expo (CSA Expo) concluded on July 28  in Kunming city, southwest China’s Yunnan province. During the expo, investment agreements totaling over 10 billion yuan were signed, with online and offline sales exceeding 500 million yuan.

The coffee industry pavilion, a single-product showcase for the first time, drew significant public attention, with on-site transactions surpassing 1 million yuan on the second day of its opening to the public.

Unique 'Yunnan products' like tea, nuts, avocados, and matsutake cookies attracted both domestic and international buyers, many of whom expressed strong investment interest.

Official entities from South Asian countries had 400 enterprises attend the CSA Expo. Handmade carpets, cashmere scarves, and black tea from countries like Pakistan, Nepal, and Sri Lanka were particularly popular.

As of the 27, the total on-site transaction volume for the South Asian pavilions had surpassed 5 million yuan.
