Kunming to build ball-sports venue with 180 million yuan

Central Yunnan’s Kunming city plans to invest approximately 180 million yuan to build a ball sports facility in the Fubao village near the Dianchi Lake.

The project will focus on the development of leisure sports industries such as basketball, football, volleyball, tennis, badminton, and table tennis, along with supporting sports equipment, sportswear, catering, and photography.

After its completion, it will also collaborate with sneaker brands and online platforms to create a top-notch shopping area for sneaker enthusiasts. Regular events such as sneaker fashion exhibitions, sneaker carnivals, high-quality sneaker replicas, and sneaker design competitions will be organized.
