Yunnan tourist revenue grows by 45.1% during festival

During the 8-day Spring Festival holiday that lasted from Feb. 9 to 17 in 2024, the total tourism revenue of Yunnan reached 637.4 billion yuan, representing a 45.1% increase year on year, said Yunnan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism.

Yunnan has seem a lively Spring Festival. A variety of customs and traditions brought the festive atmosphere to its peak. The proportion of out-of-province tourists received in the province reached 54.3%, an increase of 8.7 percentage points year-on-year.
