Yunnan deputies, members reach Beijing for Two Sessions The Yunnan deputies to the second session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) leave Kunming for Beijing.

The Yunnan deputies to the second session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) and the Yunnan members of the second session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) arrived in Beijing for the annual national Two Sessions on March 3.

They kicked off their journey to the national capital of Beijing from central Yunnan’s Kunming city on the same day, and this year’s two sessions will open on March 5 and 4 respectively.

The year 2024 marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and is a crucial year for the realization of the goals and tasks of the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025).
