More than 100,000 5G stations built in Yunnan

Yunnan province has built more than 100,000 5G stations, propelling development of the 5G technology.

5G commercial licenses were first issued in June 2019. By July 2022, the number of 5G stations in Yunnan reached 50,000. 16 months later, the number rose to 105,700.

The 5G network covers Yunnan’s all 129 counties and 374 border villages, as will as industrial parks, new industrial demonstration bases and hospitals across the province.
