Over a thousand spring flower-viewing products have been launched on major tourism platforms in China. March flower-viewing tours have more than quadrupled in popularity since last year, making them a spring travel industry highlight.
Data reveals that since mid-February, the search volume for "flower-viewing" related terms has nearly tripled compared to the previous month, and the booking volume for flower-viewing products has increased by 2.7 times. The initial wave of spring flower-viewing tourists primarily opts for long-distance and group tours, with rising demand for refined small groups and customized tours.
Simultaneously, the outbound flower-viewing tour sees rapid growth. Besides Japan's famous cherry blossoms, travelers are also interested in small package tours for tulip viewing in the Netherlands from March to April. Limited routes for Bulgaria's Rose Festival, departing at the end of May, also attract a lot of attention.
Among the popular domestic destinations, traditional hotspots such as Beijing, Sanya, Shanghai, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Kunming, Nanjing, Lijiang, Hangzhou, and Xishuangbanna maintain high popularity.
