Yunnan-Thai business event held in Kunming

The Matchmaking Event on Yunnan-Thai Agricultural Products Cooperation is held in Kunming on March 15.

Hosted by Yunnan Provincial Department of Commerce, the business event saw 31 Yunnan agricultural and logistics enterprises participate, displaying fresh cut flowers, fruits, vegetables, aquatic products and others.

Yunnan and Thailand are close to each other in culture and location. In 2023, bilateral trade volume reached 13.57 billion yuan.

Yunnan vegetables are displayed at the event.

Yunnan vegetables, fruits and flowers are favored by Thai consumers, while Thai fruits of durian and mangosteen sell well in Yunnan.

"I hope the matchmaking will allow entrepreneurs to fully appreciate the charm of Yunnan specialties, boosting Yunnan-Thai trade in agricultural products," said Yang Mu, head of the Yunnan department.
