Pear blossoms invite visitors to Biyehong village

Amid the vernal breeze of March, the snow-white pear flowers are blooming these days in the Biyehong village of Gejiu city, south Yunnan’s Honghe Hani and Yi autonomous prefecture, inviting in crowds of tourists.

Pear trees are planted on 14,000 mu (933.3 ha) of land in the village. In 2023, the village’s output of Lusha pears reached 20,000 tons, bringing 40 million yuan to local villagers.
