Honghe folk songs enjoyed by more

The first Yunnan folk song singing festival was held at the Yilong Lake wetland park in south Yunnan’s Honghe Hani and Yi autonomous prefecture on May 2. Tourists and performers enjoyed the event a lot.

Wearing ethnic costumes, local folks and foreign expats formed 14 teams and they performed seven chapters of fabulous folk songs. The unique performance with Honghe characteristics attracted thousands of tourists.

During the performance, the special singing Haicaiqiang was performed. The Hani folk songs, love songs and drinking songs were showcased through solo performances, folk duets, choruses, and dances.
