The tea promotion in Paris
The tea promotion began on May 21 local time in Paris, where famed Yunnan tea varieties were on display, including the Pu'er tea, the Changning black tea, the Yunnan Tuocha and more.
In cultural performances, corporate briefs, business talks and other activities, the attendees got to know more about the special Yunnan teas and life styles.

The Yunnan Tuocha has been popular in France and other European countries partly because of French businessman Fred Kempler, who first tasted the Yunnan tea in 1976 in Hong Kong and later imported it to Europe.
The Xiaguan Tea Factory in west Yunnan’s Dali brought a new type of Tuocha tea to the Paris event, for the 60th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between China and France.
The Yunnan tea salon in Lyon
On May 23 local time, the Yunnan tea fragrance salon was held in Lyon, France.
French perfumer Laure Rizo brewed a brand-new perfume with bergamot, rose, jasmine, synthetic musk, tea and grass. Then he sprayed the perfume onto Yunnan sachets, and gave them to those present as gifts.

"Chinese (Yunnan) teas are natural and green. Coupled with the scent of flowers, they taste sweet but not greasy, bringing the smell of a tea garden after rain or a lawn after being mowed," said Laure Rizo.
Catherine, who has taught herself Chinese for five years, said in the tea fragrance, she felt closer to Yunnan and the people.
The Yunnan tea promotion in Brussels
The Yunnan tea promotion in Belgium took place on May 24 in Brussels, under the theme of Tea for Harmony.
