Lotus starts to bloom in Daguan park
Lotus flowers have already started to bloom in Daguan park of Kunming city, capital of Yunnan province. Hidden in lush lotus leaf, some lotus flowers are still of pinky buds.
The lotus pond that covers an area of about 6.67 ha is appealing to local walkers and tourists alike. The flowering phase of lotus in the park is estimated to last till September.
