The 8th CSA Expo to fully utilize green energy

According to the organizing committee of the 8th China-South Asia Expo (CSA Expo), the expo, which will be held from July 23 to 28, will use 100% green energy. This marks the second consecutive year that the expo will achieve green power consumption, enhancing the zero-carbon and green aspect of the event. It also sets a positive example for the widespread development of green electricity trading in southern China.

The sole green electricity supplier for this expo is the Yunnan branch of China Huaneng Group, which has invested in power development in Cambodia.

As of now, the total green electricity trading volume in Yunnan province this year has exceeded 560 million kilowatt-hours, setting a historical record. This is equivalent to saving over 160,000 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by over 440,000 tons.
