Neo-Chinese style dishes in Xishuangbanna are creative

Recently, in some restaurants of Xishuangbanna Dai autonomous prefecture of Yunnan province, chicken soup stewed with 18 Dai style herbs become popular. The herbs used by Dai people also belong to the common materials of traditional Chinese medicine.

After many hours’ boiling, a pot of chicken soup with special fragrance is served. As the soup is of great taste and rich nutrition, it is popular among people.

Dai medicine is one of the 4 ethnic medicines of China. When herbs and food materials are combined, many new dishes will be created.
