President Bhandari Sends Video Message to China

Nepalese President Ms.Bidhya Devi Bhandari has sent Video Message to Chinese President Xi Jinping and the People of China on the occasion of Chinese New Year 2020. This is the first time that our Head of State has sent a Video Message to other countries using modern technology.The video has been recorded yesterday afternoon using Teleprompter,a display device that prompts the person speaking with an electronic visual text of a speech or script. According to the source,the video is about 5 minutes 30 seconds and that the voice over in Chinese Language is done by Ms.Barsha (Zhang Yue), the Correspondent of China Radio International (CRI) for Nepal.The video has been delivered to China today through her excellency the chinese ambassador Hou Yanqi that will be presented to President Xi Jinping and also broadcasted through chinese television channels on 24th January 2020. It has been known that China has received such video messages from many countries including the Prime Minister of Japan. Chinese New Year 2020 falls on January 25th (Saturday) and the festival will last to February 8th,about 15 days in total.
