The opening ceremony of the 2025 "Happy Chinese New Year" Shanghai New Year Painting Exhibition

2. The name of the exhibition is "Ruyi Age - Annual Exhibition of the Collection of Shanghai History Museum."

The exhibition features 60 old New Year paintings from the collection of the Shanghai History Museum, which are divided into four themes: "New Year's Greetings," "Court Ladies," "Current Affairs and Local Customs," and "Opera Stories." These paintings showcase the social atmosphere, folk customs, and the cultural atmosphere of the late 19th century in Shanghai. The New Year paintings of the Old Camp are a rare gem in the field of Chinese New Year paintings, known for their innovative themes and exquisite craftsmanship.
